What is a stroke?
A stroke occurs when blood flow is blocked to a region of the brain resulting in injury or death of brain tissue.
Stroke symptoms may include:
- Paralysis
- Visual changes
- Dizziness
- Memory deficits
- Speech deficits
- Walking difficulty
- Loss of coordination
- Weakness
- Decreased endurance
- Trouble using the arm or hand for daily activities
